My novel is a cozy small-town mystery. Right now, it's called Walden's Gift.
“One day, while walking home, a down-on-his-luck man named Walden discovers a manila envelope filled with $30,000 cash and three names scrawled on the back of it. He needs to figure out who these people are and why their names are on the envelope. This money could be a huge gift to him, but during his investigation, he'll discover his true gift."
Stay tuned for publishing news.
In early 2025, my family adopted a pair of bonded kittens from the foster program through Sip and Purr Cafe in Milwaukee.
Nash is our brown tabby boy, and Emerald is our little gray girl.
These two have brought us so much joy and some mischief into our lives. I never thought I'd adopt TWO cats, but once you experience their bond, you can see why we had to keep them together!
The kittens playing with my little girls inspired a children's book! After writing the first draft, my older daughter helped me make it even better with a message about adopting cats.
We hope to publish the book, with all profits going towards helping more cats find homes.
The book is currently titled Nash and Emerald.
I've read 52 books a year since 2019! I post what I'm reading on my Instagram stories.
These songs inspired me as I wrote the book Walden's Gift!
